Description:
Our Client is a MNC in the service industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Finance Director to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a robust financial control environment for the full set of account and the month-end close process to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and global accounting policies.
- Uphold strong balance sheet governance and align reporting with regional and global standards.
- Participate in monthly reviews and collaborate with APAC entities to ensure timely and accurate management and financial information.
- Facilitate regional financial reporting, including monthly financial and management updates, business updates, and phasing analysis.
- Engage in the budgeting and forecasting process for the APAC region, ensuring adherence to global and regional controlling frameworks.
- Work closely with functional teams of APAC-owned entities to improve transparency in revenue budgeting, forecasting, and recognition, enhancing the rationalization of KPIs, business trends, financial variances, and other statistical results.
- Assist in reviewing, determining, and implementing best practices for APAC entities to streamline analytical reporting for better management decision-making.
- Recommend and develop policies, procedures, and systems to meet company objectives and responsible in APAC initiatives for controlling and reporting efficiency.
- Oversee the operations and delivery of the Singapore finance and accounting department, supporting Singapore’s growth and profitability through partnership with local GM and MD.
- Manage all aspects of financial and accounting activities, including financial planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting, client finance interfacing, controllership, taxation, and cash management.
- Influence or lead initiatives to drive higher operational productivity, customer experience, and company profitability.
- Any ad-hoc duty as given
Requirements
- Min Degree in Accountancy ACCA or CPA etc
- Min 6 years of experience in Finance Management
- Good analytical skills in analysing complex financial data.
