Description:
We have an opportunity for a Finance Director to join as a key member of our Leadership Team.
We are looking for a dedicated Finance Director to oversee our financial operations, and lead our National Finance Team. If you are an experienced and efficient financial leader well-versed in all aspects of financial management; and enjoy providing astute financial information and advice to support strategies to achieve business goals, and the ability to maintain financial control of diverse business operations, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As our Finance Director you will provide leadership, management, and control of the financial aspects to ensure long-term financial health and growth.
Responsible for the development of current and future financial monitoring control systems designed to preserve business assets and report accurate financial results. Creating forecasting models, assessing risk in investments, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. Working collaboratively with our CEO on the financial development of the business, and any new subsidiary businesses.
This position offers a dynamic balance, with 75% of your focus dedicated to ensuring the smooth execution of essential financial processes from meticulous reporting packs to annual statutory accounts and cash flow management. The remaining 25% of your role will focus on strategic initiatives that drive our future growth.
- Lead the National Finance team, creating a high-performance focused culture through personal leadership, teamwork, coaching and mentoring of individuals.
- Manage the financial, administrative, and risk management operations.
- Evaluate business performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Design and implement business financial strategies, metrics, and goals for performance and growth.
- Provide information, advice, and support to the Executive Management Team for business decisions.
- Lead the finance team to ensure compliant and efficient processes that support the business.
- Drive innovation through the integration of Xero for enhanced invoicing capabilities.
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances), including financial analysis and assessment of risk.
- Provide budgets and forecasting to meet the needs of the companies in the group.
- Establish financial policies and processes to ensure legal compliance and that promote the company culture and vision.
