Job Title: Accounts & Finance Head
Location: Ras Al Khaimah
Department: Finance
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts & Finance Head to lead and manage the financial operations of our aluminum and glass fabrication company. This role will oversee the entire finance department, ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in managing financial activities in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, CA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in financial management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication company, especially in aluminum and glass industries, is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally, Oracle, MS Excel).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, tax laws, and corporate finance.
- Knowledge of industry-specific cost structures and project finance management.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing finance teams.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, including long-term budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide strategic insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations, capital expenditures, and growth initiatives. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring that departmental budgets are aligned with the company’s financial goals. Monitor expenditure and implement cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Financial Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and financial controls to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.
- Accounting Systems & Processes: Oversee and improve accounting systems and processes, ensuring efficient and accurate financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting. Implement best practices in financial management and accounting software.
- Tax Planning & Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and compliance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance staff, ensuring effective performance, continuous development, and alignment with company goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters, communicating effectively with senior leadership, auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Project Financial Oversight: Provide financial oversight for large projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial risk assessment, particularly for fabrication projects involving aluminum and glass systems.
