POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an intern in our Bristol office to work in our Finance Operations fixed wing team (P8, E7 and C1 programmes) to start in July 2025.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
  • Studying a degree course or have graduated a degree course within last 2 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Qualified to degree level in Accounting or Business or similar degree
  • Good IT skills including good excel skills
  • Good mathematical ability
  • To have forward thinking mind-set and be self-motivated
  • Effective communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support programme teams as an engaged partner and with a curiosity to learn and integrate into the business
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis, including weekly, monthly and quarterly BPR
  • Support quarterly/periodic Cost and Employment Forecasting
  • Support and recommend solutions to improve costs, leveraging data analytics; improves the productivity of financial deliverables
  • Support and prepare materials for Executive Leadership, managers and non-management.
  • Provide analysis and insight for other assignments and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Other ad hoc accounting activities and projects as required
