Title: Finance Intern
Location: Limerick Internship
Overview: We are excited to offer a fantastic internship opportunity for a Finance Intern to join our Irish headquartered business. This role is ideal for a driven individual who is keen to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting within a dynamic and growing company. As a Finance Intern you will have exposure to accounts payable, accounts recievable, financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • Support the team in presenting monthly findings and insights across various jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation and management of the external audit process.
  • Help implement and manage best practice financial reporting across the group.
  • Support the development and enforcement of internal guidelines and policies within the finance function.
  • Build relationships with key external providers.
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to company accounting standards, business compliance, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in our Graduate Accountant Development Plan.
  • Support the supervision and mentorship of junior financial analysts.
  • Assist in conducting performance reviews and providing guidance to enhance team members’ skills. Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in financial reporting and accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach towards business issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
