EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Initial experience with accounting, finance, or related areas through coursework, internships, or part-time positions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Advanced knowledge of English and German
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment

• Assist with Financial Analysis: Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify key insights and trends.
• Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Data Management: Assist in maintaining financial databases and spreadsheets, updating records, and reconciling discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing schedules, and assisting in the development of financial models to support decision-making.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, or market research, to support the company’s strategic objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and marketing, to gather information, analyze data, and provide financial insights to support cross-functional initiatives.
