Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, ensure full compliance with Singapore FRS and Group policy.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports, analysis, commentary on major variances, budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare month-end accruals, review and approve entries/ journals prepared by Accountant and Accounts Executives.
- Ensure general ledger are reconciled, maintained and cleared. Balance sheet items are reconciled.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure reconciled.
- Manage the revenue recognition and internal Project Management System.
- Manage the project life cycle following FRS and Group Policy guidelines, including opening and closing project codes and monitoring monthly progress.
- Validate data inputted into the internal Project Management system, assist project teams with accounting queries, and review monthly project completion percentages and work-in-progress for revenue adjustments per FRS and Group Policy.
- Ensure accurate billing by reviewing deliverables from the AR Accountant and maintain contract documentation for revenue tracking.
- Liaise with auditors for year-end audits, prepare statutory accounts and schedules, and collaborate with tax agents on corporate income tax while preparing tax schedules.
- Provide support in managing tax regulatory filing requirements – review GST return, monitor withholding tax deductions for overseas vendors and prepare the associated withholding tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, internal policies, procedures, external requirements, and internal audits pertaining to Finance function controls and processes.
- Handle day-to-day operations within the Finance Department and fulfill any other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Accounting or Finance field with at least 6 years of relevant working experience.
- Good working knowledge in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
- Experience in Project Management System is a plus.
- Able to handle large volume of transactions is a must.
- Willingness to be hands-on, excellent analytical skills, detailed-oriented and able to meet datelines in a fast-paced environment.
- A good team player with strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and maturity to effectively work with different levels in the organization.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
