Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager, you are responsible for the completion of Tax and Accounting tasks of 9 Luxembourg companies. This includes mainly the regular review of accounting and financial reporting and handling of a wide range of tax-related topics. You will keep the senior personnel updated of the work status and progress and you will ensure guidelines are respected and internal & external deadlines are met. The responsibilities include the review or preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP or IFRS. This involves reviewing annual accounts, including tax provisions, tax returns, and withholding tax (WHT) and VAT declarations to the authorities, ensuring timely submission.
Additionally, it is essential to ensure tax compliance for the entities under your responsibility by supporting local tax reporting related to Pillar 2 reporting, DAC 6, ATAD 1, 2 & 3, CFC, etc. Close collaboration with external service providers such as tax advisors, law firms, and auditors is required to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
You will act as the contact person for internal departments such as MBS and Group Functions, as well as for local authorities and external service providers. Supporting the Managing Director in all matters not covered by MBS, such as restructuring projects like mergers or capital transactions, is also part of your role.
Furthermore, you will assist in ensuring timely vendor payments using our internal payment system (TRAX). You will also support the review of legal documents, such as Board of Directors meeting minutes and shareholder resolutions.
On a daily basis, you will support management in approving internal workflows for invoices, investments, loans, hedging, etc. And you will ensure effective communication and documentation with all team members and stakeholders.
