Description:
Sales - Achieve agreed-upon finance and insurance sales and profitability goals in order to generate F&I sales that help stabilize and grow the business.
- Effectively sell all products to all customers, maintaining above industry standard averages for gross margin and penetration
- Identify and sell the best solutions and products for both the customer and the dealership and continuously explore new products and approaches to sell
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all sales and financing paperwork in ways that meet all legal, regulatory and company guidelines and values
- Coordinate delivery schedules through effective communication and teamwork with the Service department (maintain delivery calendar)
Customer Relationships- Effectively build strong relationships and rapport with all customers in ways that lead to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure all finance and insurance personnel productively and tactfully sell additional products and service to unit customers in ways that build confidence in their purchases
- Create and maintain a process with the Sales department that ensures all buyers are referred to the finance and insurance department
- Effectively work with all departments and personnel in the dealership
- Discuss and resolve any concerns with customers prior to closing the sale
People & Process Management – Manage finance and insurance processes and personnel (where applicable) in order to sustain a department with both high productivity and high morale.
- Effectively hire, coach, and develop finance and insurance staff into high performers
- Ensure all staff in the department accurately process all sales and finance paperwork in a timely manner in compliance with all legal, regulatory and company guidelines and values
