Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Finance Manager Austria, you will:

  • Support the long-term market and financial strategy of Dyson (3-5 years).
  • Be accountable for Austria market Trading Profit and Cash Flow, whilst balancing short-term and medium-term delivery with long-term sustainable growth.
  • Business partner with the local leadership team, closely collaborate with the local sales team and Cluster finance department in Cologne.
  • Establish and manage analytical capabilities to provide category and market intelligence.
  • Develop and monitor key financial and non-financial performance measures.
  • Support business planning for short, medium, and long-term outlooks (In-month estimate/Budget/LE/3-5 year plan).
  • Provide financial insights for commercial decisions on ranging, recommended pricing, and products.
  • Optimize the business model through benchmarking category and market performance.
  • Support working capital management, resource allocation, and cost initiatives.
  • Develop and embed best practices for analytical tasks into Austria’s strategy processes.
  • Act as the key counterpart for local audit processes.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a high-performing matrix organization.
  • Commercial finance experience.
  • Expertise in local law and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated financial expertise and budget control.
  • Experience in the retail industry, preferably with an electrical manufacturer.
  • Strategic and methodical business planning capability.
  • Strong influencing and high-level communication skills. Fluent in English, German is a strong plus
  • Excellent presentation skills, both personal and business.
  • Ability to be a decisive, assertive, and results-driven team player
