Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the financial health of the organization.
  • To ensure efficient financial management of the entities of which the Finance Manager is in charge of;
  • To ensure best possible rates and conditions for any kind of financial transaction.
  • To ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annually financial reporting and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • To ensure compliance with the applicable statutory regulations, tax, financial regulations Inc. Tax Planning and Company Secretarial matters.
  • To ensure company funds are managed most effectively and efficiently.
  • To ensure accurate financial procedures are developed, implemented, maintained, and used by employees.
  • To ensure effectiveness and profitability of all projects with regards to financial aspects. On a monthly basis the project costing sheet must be updated and submitted to management for each project. The project costing must be reviewed on a continual basis with the project managers and sales team.
  • To ensure optimal expediting, submission, and payment of invoices.
  • To manage the company’s insurances, including the project-based insurances and to renew them if required at the best possible conditions.
  • To manage the petty cash, cash advances and site petty cash.
  • To handle a full set of accounts.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Liase with auditors as required to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Payroll processing and management.
  • To ensure best personnel planning, quality and development is in place to achieve department Key Result Areas.
  • To ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirementsTo ensure accurate execution of any ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by the Management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in accountancy or higher accounting ACCA.
  • Proven experience as Financial Manager or equivalent in Singapore or other South- East Asian countries.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to multi-task
  • Possess strong work ethics, good initiatives, and a process-improvement mindset
  • Hands-on and self-motivated team-playerAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to perform the core job duties accurately and to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
