JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager of Invoicing & Treasury to join our Finance department at our Appleton Thorn site.
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the transactional side of CAM’s finance team, including but not limited to treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable and balance sheet management, the role holder will lead a team that will work efficiently and effectively to perform to a high standard in these areas, producing the required deliverables to a tight deadline. The role holder will work with the Head of Finance to ensure the team have the right mix of skills and resources and that the work is delivered to a high standard. The role holder will also come up with ways to improve efficiencies, getting better results.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Bank and cash – ensure all cash transactions are recorded on a timely and accurate basis and correctly accounted for in the SAP ledger
  • Maintain a relationship with the Group Treasury Team and keep on top of all treasury matters that may be relevant to CAM
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and weekly cash flow reporting with analysis vs. targets
  • Sales invoicing – ensure all customers are invoiced and an accurate and timely basis
  • Maintain a relationship with the internal credit control and accounts payable at key customers in order to make sure barriers to payment are resolved quickly
  • Report upon invoicing performance and levels of uninvoiced sales
  • Accounts payable – Ensure established P2P process and no-PO no-pay policy are enforced
  • Maximise working capital while ensuring suppliers are paid to agreed terms
  • Report upon payment performance and AP-related KPIs
  • Ensure P2P queries are resolved on a timely basis
  • Reconcile associated balance sheets, analyse and understand variances and resolve any issues arising
    Qualifications

To apply for the role of Finance Manager you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

  • Ability to manage and develop a team – organising and prioritising workloads, maintaining quality and operating within deadlines.
  • Qualified chartered accountant with a good knowledge of financial and management accounting.
  • A strong persuasive personality to challenge people at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite of software (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP s4/HANA desirable.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads accordingly.
  • A high amount of personal resilience – able to deal with setbacks, changing priorities and incomplete information.
  • A good team player with excellent communication and persuasion skills.
