COMPANY PURPOSE:

Many individuals find taxes and finances complex, preventing them from taking control of their financial well-being. Taxfix is breaking down barriers by providing a fast, affordable, and user-friendly solution. With our mobile app, users can submit their tax returns quickly and easily, saving time and money compared to traditional methods. We empower individuals with valuable tax and financial knowledge, helping them maximize their refunds and make informed financial decisions.

ROLE:

As a Finance Manager at Taxfix, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our group financial operations. You will obtain a holistic overview into the controllership (Accounting, Statutory Filing, Tax, Treasury and International operations) and assist and/or be responsible for managing financial and transformational projects, manage statutory reporting and become a reliable business partner for our group entities. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will contribute to the overall financial performance and strategic decision-making of the company.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred but not required.
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage financial projects, preferably in relation to transformation or post-merger integration.
  • Hands-on mentality with a willingness to get involved in detailed financial tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting and modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
