Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

  • Finance Business Partner to Enabling, Capital, and Fundraising GMs; prepare analyses; provide insight to variances and trends and provide recommendations to improve performance of the business and drive results
  • Support Executive Leaders, Enabling, Capital, and Fundraising Managers with interpretation of financial and KPI variances and trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and end of year reports. Identify and act on improvements in current procedures to enhance efficiency and timely presentation of reports
  • Assist the Financial Controller in preparing regulatory reporting (eg. Government acquittals)
  • Work with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to deliver budgets, forecasts and reporting by set timeframes.
  • Manage the processing of General Ledger journals, corporate allocations, Reconciliation of operating system to General ledger, and Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with the Corporate Finance Team and the external and internal auditors to assist in the audit and review processes.
  • Coordinate and manage annual Budget and Forecasting processes, working with Business Managers and Accountants
  • Prepare complex models used for capital planning for all HammondCare property projects, including residential care, independent living, and hospitals.
  • Prepare recommendations for Audit & Finance committee and Property committee to evaluate and approve.
  • Responsible for annual property revaluation program with independent valuer
  • Ad-hoc projects as required
