Description:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates will be fully qualified as recognised by one of the Accountancy institutes – ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA
  • Previous experience in the software sector is desirable with a proven understanding of revenue recognition principles in the software industry
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated accounts, including foreign currency revaluations

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce monthly consolidated accounts for Irish Parent and Overseas Subsidiaries with monthly reporting to Group
  • Tax Compliance – International an advantage
  • Revenue recognition per IFRS , tracking and forecasting
  • Accounting support for overseas subsidiaries
  • Supervisory function over the co-ordination of outsourced payroll to domestic and international payroll including statutory filings.
  • Manage, mentor and grow a team of 2, including Assistant Accountant and Accounts Payable, through continuous learning and professional development
  • Proven hands – on experience of organising a small team to meet agreed deadlines
  • Build and develop relationships across all operational functions to understand business model and goals.
  • Deputise for the Financial Controller as required
  • Be a key point of contact for audit and tax compliance
  • Provide support and feedback for Budget and Forecasting cycles
  • Partake Sales commission negotiations and implementation of sales commission plans
  • Manage banking relationships and insurance renewal cycle
