REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary degree in accounting or finance
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• Minimum 2 years related work experience
• Practical accounting experience including the preparation of financial statements
• Advanced computer skills (E.g. NetSuite, MS Office, Power BI)
• Any managerial experience will be beneficial
• Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
• Good planning and general management
• Dynamic, innovative and willing to go the extra mile
• Interest in agriculture and/or sustainability

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Forecasting and budgeting at subsidiary level
• Managing month-end closure processes
• Overseeing the finance team’s performance
• Capturing and reconciliation of inter-company transactions
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (IT/VAT/PAYE)
• Administer the payroll function (SimplePay)
• Collaborating with other departments reliant on financial data
• Taking charge of general tasks within the finance department
