We are seeking a motivated and professional Finance Manager to join our passionate team in the Corporate Budget and Financial Reporting branch.
As a Finance Manager, in our ATO Finance business area, you will be accountable for exercising a considerable degree of independence to provide effective and efficient management of the ATO’s input into the Commonwealth Budget process. You’ll lead and manage development and coordination of external budget estimates, senior executive briefings and associated supporting documents.
You will provide strategic and technical advice on complex or sensitive financial management matters relating to the application of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, in conjunction with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework and Budget Process Operational Rules.
You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and have the courage to experiment and innovate, striving for exceptional results. You’ll be responsible overseeing the work of your team and managing your own workload within strict timeframes and to a high standard.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Canberra.
