We’re looking for a Financial Controller who’ll support the senior finance leadership team in Australia and New Zealand by overseeing accounting procedures, preparing and submitting financial reports, and providing advice across departments.

What you’ll be doing
- Preparing GL accounts for Revolut New Zealand entity in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with IFRS
- Coordinating the accounting closing process within the NZ entity and any subsidiaries and branches, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Enhancing the balance sheet substantiation process, leveraging new group systems and tools
- Preparing detailed financial reporting and analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
- Ensuring compliance with local tax regulators with submission of timely tax returns
- Developing and monitoring a robust control environment, focusing on driving bank readiness
- Ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting
- Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process via automation and control
- Leading the NZ audit program in conjunction with group audit requirements
- Leading technical accounting advice on new product development
- Managing the accounting policy, ensuring it’s up-to-date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented
- Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures
What you’ll need
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- A CPA or CA qualification
- 5+ years of experience in finance and controlling functions
- Solid accounting knowledge with proven experience in IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
- A structural and logical approach to problem-solving
- Impressive analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
- Experience within a fast-growing organisation
- Great motivation and focus on delivery
