Description:
Oversee the direction and administration of the school’s tuition/business offices day to day standard accounting/clerical duties and operations in the areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Analyze every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
- Oversee bookkeeping staff.
- Ensure that school financial accounts are reconciled and balanced.
- Must be familiar with and know how to utilize accounting software systems (Gradelink, Power Schools)
- Reconcile and process monthly health benefit bills
- Provide accounting/payroll reports upon request
- Familiar with ADP payroll/reporting system
- Professional with bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience in a demanding high level office environment
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
- Knowledge of business, budgeting, accounting and bookkeeping.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Report preparation skills.
- Project coordination skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate personal computer and software programs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while being interrupted and still have the ability to get needed tasks completed.
