Description:

Oversee the direction and administration of the school’s tuition/business offices day to day standard accounting/clerical duties and operations in the areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Analyze every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.

  • Oversee bookkeeping staff.
  • Ensure that school financial accounts are reconciled and balanced.
  • Must be familiar with and know how to utilize accounting software systems (Gradelink, Power Schools)
  • Reconcile and process monthly health benefit bills
  • Provide accounting/payroll reports upon request
  • Familiar with ADP payroll/reporting system
  • Professional with bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Experience in a demanding high level office environment
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
  • Knowledge of business, budgeting, accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal/human relations skills.
  • Report preparation skills.
  • Project coordination skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate personal computer and software programs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while being interrupted and still have the ability to get needed tasks completed.
  • Multi-tasked.
