Description:
We are excited to be working with this International, high-end retail business who are experiencing rapid growth and looking for an experienced and commercially focus Finance Manager to join the team. This is a pivotal role within the business where you will assist in steering and enhance the financial future of this innovative company. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the senior leadership team you will oversee financial activities across multiple regions and partner with global teams to drive the company’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing financial models for strategic initiatives.
- Manage financial control and reporting functions, including month-end close, payroll, accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), and detailed financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, handling payment negotiations, inventory control, and cost management.
- Perform in-depth supplier account analysis and resolve discrepancies.
- Continuously enhance financial processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead AP/AR operations, ensuring timely invoice processing and supporting the accounting team with month-end close.
- Handle quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review UK and NL payroll, including pension contributions, on a monthly basis.
- Provide financial support across the business, ensuring clear communication of expectations and responsibilities.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a background in Retail or FMCG. Experience in business partnering and international markets would be advantageous.
