Finance Manager - Hedge Fund

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 7 years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably with a Big 4 public accounting firm (Less experienced candidates would be considered for a Finance Associate role)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Familiarity with international Hedge Funds, Investment Management, and/or Securities brokerage industry preferred
• Strong understanding of IFRS and proficiency in US GAAP
• Proven track record in regulatory reporting and compliance with MAS requirements
• Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and impeccable integrity

• Provide comprehensive finance and accounting support for regulated and unregulated entities across the APAC region, including monthly reporting, expense booking, cost allocations, tax calculations, and financial data analysis
• Prepare audited financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
• Collaborate with local and regional management to identify risk areas and ensure timely escalation and remediation
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate finance and accounting processes
• Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with MAS guidelines
