Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take on a dynamic and impactful role within a tight-knit team? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our small but mighty Finance team. In this role, you will handle a wide range of financial duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial systems and contributing to the overall success of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification, a Master’s or advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Over 5 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Finance Sun software packages.
  • Experience within an Audit Firm or Corporate Service provider.
  • Direct experience in completing financial statements and GST returns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Knowledge and experience in the immigration by investment industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Provide and interpret vital financial information to guide business decisions.
  • Formulate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with auditors, bankers, and tax advisors.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and legislation.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks and prepare monthly/quarterly accounts.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and support the audit process.
  • Process bank payments and follow up as necessary.
  • Issue sales invoices and monitor receivables.
  • Submit VAT returns and assist with tax returns.
  • Support the management team in achieving financial targets.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Address audit issues identified by external auditors.
  • Keep abreast of relevant tax developments through external advisors.
  • Support change initiatives implemented by Group Finance.
  • Handle month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain customer and supplier age analysis.
  • Prepare the year-end audit file.
  • Prepare monthly management account packs.
