Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, providing financial insights and facilitating productive business discussions.
- Oversee the finance function within the legal entity, ensuring compliance with internal control policies and effective financial governance.
- Be an active member of the local leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Coordinate and drive strategic discussions with the Division, identifying growth initiatives and performance improvement measures.
- Monitor and improve P&L and balance sheet performance, with a focus on commercial profitability, overheads, and recurring free cash flow.
- Support commercial decision-making and negotiations for key matters from both a customer and supplier perspective.
- Play a key role in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by providing detailed financial analysis.
- Drive a performance-oriented culture within operations, analysing and addressing variances in a standard costing environment.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including Group reporting, while providing forward-looking financial insights to drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate with Etex Business Services teams in Europe and the UK, particularly in the context of the new SAP ERP implementation.
- Lead the finance team, fostering talent development, effective performance management, and creating meaningful personal development plans for team members.
