THE OPPORTUNITY
For this key opportunity, we are seeking an experienced candidate to provide strategic financial services, guidance and advice to a portfolio of clients, in line with client business needs and organisational finance strategy.
As a Finance Manager within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences (MNHS), you will have the unique opportunity to engage with a diverse and dynamic team of professional staff, all while being at the heart of a world-renowned academic environment. The Finance Manager will provide leadership in strategic financial management and maintain significant responsibility for the University’s budget and resources within the Faculty. You will also play a leading role in planning and budget management at school and department level. Specific responsibilities will include budget development, financial and non-financial monitoring and reporting, costing and pricing and financial modelling and analysis to support management planning and decision making.
The appointee will be expected to provide professional and expert advice on financial and operational matters to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at the Faculty and the University.
Experience and understanding of the higher education sector will be highly regarded.
