Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of group management accounts and statutory financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.Support the management of the group
- ‘s external audit process in conjunction with other Group reporting teams.
- Review monthly reporting cost center analyses and provide summarised commentary for senior finance leadership in the monthly reporting pack.
- Coordinate and manage multiple audit requests, delegating to team members as needed to ensure timely responses.
- Perform reviews of month-end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analyses prepared by the group reporting team.
- Take responsibility for technical accounting in specific areas of the balance sheet, including equity, trade and other payables/receivables, and investments, as directed.
- Act as a finance business partner for assigned corporate head office cost centers.
- Contribute to budget discussions for relevant cost centers by sharing insights into ongoing projects.
- Support interpretation and impact assessment of new accounting standards, assisting in their implementation for the Group.
- Provide practical financial accounting and reporting advice within the Group.
- Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams, as well as external payroll providers, to ensure finance payroll activities align with monthly timelines.
