Description:
Job Purpose: To oversee and lead the execution of all aspects of payroll operations and salary processing for both EKFC and its Joint Venture employees while ensuring compliance with established company guidelines, governance, policies, DOA, relevant regulations, UAE labour law, and implementing best practices in payroll administration. The Finance Manager *’ Payroll will also play a vital role in the upcoming system integration to lead the team in navigating through the transition and integration of new ERP and HR systems where close collaboration with multiple stakeholders is necessary.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor*s degree in accounting or commerce or equivalent
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA is required
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll management with 4 years preferably in a managerial role in a large and diversified organization with over 10,000 employees
In-depth knowledge of applicable salary process, financial chart of accounts, corporate procedures and UAE labour law, regulations and best practices
SKILLS:
Proficiency in accounting and payroll software as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage, delegate, motivate and monitor team activities effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to identify, highlight and adhere to the appropriate company policies, delegation of authority (DOA), and updated labour laws in various scenarios and situations.
Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
Strong organizational and time management skills against workload and pressure.
Strong focus on details and accuracy while meeting deadlines
Willingness to go above and beyond to prevent errors and maintain data credibility
Able to create new opportunities through innovative thinking, systems, processes, and methods.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in coaching, guiding, and mentoring team member
