In the hands-on Finance Manager role, you will contribute to the continued growth and quality of the PKF brand.
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting into the Managing Partner, this role will see you doing the following:
- Preparing and reviewing annual budgets and forecasts and drive key management reporting obligations
- Undertake regular financial analysis to provide decision support and strategic insights
- Develop a strong understanding of the business to drive performance and strategic direction
- Cash flow management—AP, AR and payroll
- Manage a team of 2 (Bookkeeper and Accounts Receivable) with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, timeliness and client service focus
- Effectively explain and influence management to build understanding and compliance with budget and financial regulations
- Maintain Risk Management framework for firm operations (ISQM 1)
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality management reports
- Preparation of income tax returns, BAS and other ATO reporting
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
About you
- CA or CPA
- Proven substantial relevant management accounting experience
- Strong communication skills - written and oral – and comfort in dealing with representatives from all levels of an organisation
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience in the professional services industry highly desirable
