We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Finance Manager in the retail industry, based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. This role involves overseeing financial procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing financial reporting activities.

• Lead the team to influence and support business decisions that align with our strategic financial objectives.
• Assist in the production and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure all financial reporting activities comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the monthly financial close process on a global scale.
• Oversee the work performed by direct reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Establish, maintain, and document both internal and external controls within areas of responsibility.
• Participate in the development and implementation of finance/accounting systems.
• Maintain and enforce company policies.
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and other accounting software systems to manage accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the financial close process.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards within the finance sector.
• Experience in managing Financial Close Process.
• Proven track record in Monthly Financial Close.
• Must be able to prepare and present Financial Reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
