Robert Half is partnering with an industry leader to find a talented Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and credit control.
Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team responsible for AP, AR, and credit control, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations.
- Maintain accurate vendor ledgers with proper payment allocation, complete paperwork, and adherence to payment terms.
- Implement a robust new vendor onboarding process with thorough qualification checks and controls.
- Streamline purchase requisition (PR) and invoice (PI) approvals by identifying and implementing compliance improvements.
- Develop payment plans that optimise cash flow while managing vendor priorities effectively.
- Collaborate with credit control to minimise overdue account balances.
- Ensure adherence to robust sales invoicing processes and prompt invoice issuance.
- Actively participate in the month-end close process by providing reconciliations, supporting documentation, and reports.
- Partner with HR to fulfil all payroll obligations and ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and risk minimisation strategies within Group Finance.
- Assist the contracts team by reviewing relevant supplier and client contract clauses.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the vendor ledger, sales ledger, and payroll data during the annual financial audit.
