Description:
We are on the lookout for a Finance Manager to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves a blend of finance and accounting tasks with a focus on budget processes and compliance. As a Finance Manager, you will be expected to make significant contributions by applying your advanced understanding of financial planning and analysis, as well as your familiarity with Excel and systems like Axiom and Strata. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support company decisions
- Oversee and manage budget processes to ensure fiscal responsibility
- Utilize Excel at an advanced level for financial tasks and reporting
- Operate Axiom and Strata systems for finance-related tasks
- Ensure corporate compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Work on merger and acquisition projects, applying relevant experience
- Maintain a balance of accounting and finance responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Monitor the financial performance of the company and measure against goals
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial information to the team.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with budget processes • Proven track record in compliance management • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is a must, Master’s degree is preferred • detail oriented certification such as CFA, CPA, or similar is preferred • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels • Able to work comfortably with numbers and possess strong reporting skills • Outstanding leadership skills and experience in managing a team • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software • Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
