Description:

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team responsible for supporting our growing Land Lease Communities business. The position will require a confident self-starter who can deliver across our market leading Land Lease development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and support the Project Feasibilities in Anaplan, Financial Modelling for scenario analysis e.g. Highest/Best Use Cases
  • Drive and support proactive engagement with the Business Unit (BU) team and Senior Finance Leadership Team on the identification of opportunities, management of risks, drivers of business performance, opportunities, trends, and their implications for the business
  • Responsible for the analysis of drivers of business performance – and support ensuring all risks are communicated, mitigated and minimised where possible
  • Responsible for challenging the current BU’s finance processes and assumptions to drive greater control, accuracy and simplification where required
  • Utilise business knowledge and experience to challenge BU results and projected data analysis, developing advice on implications to drive strategic decision making
  • Support positive change management initiatives and process enhancement across the BU and finance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers / stakeholders including Senior Management and peers
  • Take an active leadership role in broader innovation across the BU at a state/ divisional level
  • Responsible for assisting with the preparation of a timely, relevant and accurate BU Budget, including review of assumptions and assisting with generation of key insights
  • Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of group submission, including planning/forecasting deliverables
  • Support the review of business opportunities for profit/ income maximisation and cost optimisation/reduction
