JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCATION: 5823 Newton Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008
TITLE: Finance Manager
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: • Execute tactical objectives in support of monthly & quarterly business reviews, annual operating plan development, and the strategic planning processes.

  • Deliver key weekly financial reporting & insight.
  • Support new product introductions with accurate financial modeling and oversight.
  • Drive alignment with global sales teams regarding commercial forecasts.
  • Assist with P&L management including timely execution of project spending.
  • Demonstrate FP&A leadership with timely, accurate, and value-added information.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive projects from planning to execution.
  • Support potential M&A and integration activities.
  • Supervise, develop, and provide mentorship to at least one Financial Analyst direct report.
  • Perform special projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting or accounting, or related experience.
Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting or accounting, or related experience.

Required knowledge or experience with:

  • Establishing a framework of defined business objectives in a matrix environment;
  • Navigating interplay between financial systems (ERP, Planning tools);
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Excel-based dashboards);
  • Formulating and driving process improvements; and
  • Translating data and metrics into predictable, value-added business.

Salary: $143195 to $166400 per year
