JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCATION: 5823 Newton Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008
TITLE: Finance Manager
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES: • Execute tactical objectives in support of monthly & quarterly business reviews, annual operating plan development, and the strategic planning processes.
- Deliver key weekly financial reporting & insight.
- Support new product introductions with accurate financial modeling and oversight.
- Drive alignment with global sales teams regarding commercial forecasts.
- Assist with P&L management including timely execution of project spending.
- Demonstrate FP&A leadership with timely, accurate, and value-added information.
- Partner cross-functionally to drive projects from planning to execution.
- Support potential M&A and integration activities.
- Supervise, develop, and provide mentorship to at least one Financial Analyst direct report.
- Perform special projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting or accounting, or related experience.
Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting or accounting, or related experience.
Required knowledge or experience with:
- Establishing a framework of defined business objectives in a matrix environment;
- Navigating interplay between financial systems (ERP, Planning tools);
- Microsoft Office;
- Data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Excel-based dashboards);
- Formulating and driving process improvements; and
- Translating data and metrics into predictable, value-added business.
Salary: $143195 to $166400 per year
