Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is an exciting, varied role within a collaborative and skilled finance team. As Finance Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact through financial analysis, process improvements, and strategic insights in a dynamic retail environment. This role is ideal for a proactive and finance professionals ready to contribute to a business that values growth and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trade Meeting Performance Analysis: Prepare the weekly performance pack for trade meetings, delivering actionable insights and trend analysis to support business decisions.
- Streamline Financial Processes: Lead initiatives to improve reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring our financial processes are efficient and scalable.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the preparation of standard daily and monthly reports with a focus on accuracy and enhancement.
- Project Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new processes, controls, and business improvements.
- Cashflow & Month-End Oversight: Manage cashflow and temporarily oversee the month-end process, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliation during maternity cover.
- VAT & Audit Support: Assist with quarterly VAT returns and play a key role in the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Deliver ad-hoc financial insights that support leadership in strategic planning and decision-making.
