    We now have an opportunity for a new Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable to join our head office finance team in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD.
    Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader your role will provide assistance in the financial functions of CPL in the receivable team.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for someone that has:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in an Accounts Receivable position within a large organisation with high transactional volume.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understands that not everything will be in place yet and we’re building the process together!
  • Keen to improve processes and efficiencies for the organisation.
  • A team-player attitude and a love for problem-solving.
  • A meticulous and highly organised approach.
  • Embodies a proactive, “make it happen” attitude.
  • Intermediate computing skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word and knowledge of financial accounting packages, Lumary/Technology One Systems would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will also require a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and a National Police Check (we can help).

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Data Management: Accurately process invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions via EFT, cheque, credit card, and more, ensuring compliance with our established guidelines.
  • Bank Reconciliation Support: Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure financial accuracy and timely processing.
  • Debtor Management: Reconcile debtor accounts and provide insightful analysis to ensure smooth cash flow. Proactively follow up with debtors to ensure timely payments.
  • System Processing: Manage and process journal entries, POs, and other financial transactions in our designated systems.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing the email inbox and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
