The Systems and Financial Administration team is responsible for overseeing NSW Health grants and ensuring it is compliant with policies, programs and guidelines to extend NSW Health’s services into communities. The team is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, systems, governance and risk minimisation strategies to ensure the transparent and robust administration of grants funding.
The Finance Officer, under the supervision of the Principal Finance Analyst, provides support to a range of financial and accounting activities in an Oracle R12 environment, to support meeting organisational and financial objectives of the Ministry.
Crown Clerk 5/6, starting salary from $97,027 - $107,059 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Support the Principal Finance Analyst, in the review of Grant Acquittals and assist with the annual report preparation process.
  • Assist the Principal Finance Analyst, in the preparation and update of NGO Grant payments and administration and monthly reporting.
  • Support the Principal Finance Analyst, in the preparation and reconciliation of monthly Financial Reports.
  • Support the Principal Finance Analyst, with continuing development, maintenance and implementation of a comprehensive financial reporting system to ensure it delivers the financial information to enable the Ministry to meet its financial outcomes.
  • Provide Gatekeeping role within the iProcurement Oracle R12 environment while ensuring compliance with Accounting and Audit Determinations.
