Job Description
As Finance Officer, you will take charge of the payroll function for our distinguished property, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll services. You’ll be the go-to person for any payroll queries and will handle employee status changes. Your role will include maintaining compliance with Awards and regulations and contributing to important payroll-related projects.
In addition, you’ll oversee accounts payable by verifying invoice accuracy, securing proper authorization, and keeping vendor information up to date. Your responsibilities will involve coding invoices, reconciling ledgers, preparing payment runs, managing supplier statements, and handling accruals. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems.
• Proficiency in financial software including Sun, Human Force, and Wage Easy would be beneficial
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial matters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding service and foster positive relationships
