The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Finance Operations and Engagement Officer to support the smooth running of the Finance department.
In this varied role, you will undertake a range of office management responsibilities, supporting the delivery of staff training, organising finance staff events and maintaining the finance website.

Responsibilities:

Providing administrative support to the Director and Associate Directors of Finance as required
Supporting the Finance Leadership team with recruiting, inducting and onboarding new Finance staff
Supporting system/software change projects
Administering the Matrix desk and room booking system as required
Organising, communicating and facilitating staff briefings, staff away days and events, including our yearly Finance training festival
Updating and maintaining the Finance intranet page and University website
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your events, IT and administrative skills and experience, whilst playing a key role at the heart of our Finance department.
About you
You will need an excellent working knowledge of MS Office Software (including SharePoint) and will possess experience of setting up IT equipment for training courses, preparing training materials and communicating with large numbers of people effectively.
You will also be confident in the use of website video capture software (including Open Broadcast software or Snagit) and will demonstrate knowledge of Finance Information Systems (Agresso/ABW).
Excellent teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills will also be essential for success in this role.
