POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne based Finance Operations Manager (all genders) to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Tasks

  • Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently for products and services provided to clients to ensure timely revenue generation
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end resolution of customer claims and billing disputes to enhance customer trust and contribute to positive client experiences
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other relevant departments to understand the nature of customer claims and identify root causes of billing discrepancies
  • Implement proactive strategies to prevent recurring billing issues and disputes, working towards a sustainable solution
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer claims, resolutions, and communication in compliance with company policies to ensure transparency, compliance, and the ability to learn from past resolutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding billing disputes, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and satisfactory issue resolution
  • Analyze trends and patterns in customer claims to identify systemic problems and recommend process improvements
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on customer claims, resolutions, and improvement initiatives for management review
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on proper billing practices, dispute resolution procedures, and SAP BRIM functionalities to enhance team capabilities and reducing errors

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or comparable education
  • Experience as a Billing Specialist/Finance Operations Manager (in a related field), with a strong focus on customer claims and issue resolution

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
