Description:
The Starknet Foundation is a non-profit organisation established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. We’re looking for a Finance Manager who is interested in stepping into the world of Web3 and ZK technologies to lead our financial operations. This role will involve ensuring the smooth running of our activities, as well as implementing and maintaining the right audit and control framework of the business. This role is reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage closing activities, account reconciliations, monthly postings and process reconciliations (AP, AR, expenses, payroll).
- Manage accounting for all crypto and fiat transactions.
- Process payment transactions and manage cash flow forecasting.
- Implement and own financial and operational KPI’s and project-related reporting for our business.
- Elaborate the internal audit and control framework
- Support the elaboration of the FP&A activities, analysing forecasting models and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Help create and launch a budgeting process; partner with business leaders for ongoing budget management.
- Be the Head of Finance’s sparring partner, supporting the team growth and development, providing ad hoc analyses and forecasts to support management in making strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Experience in internal audit and risk framework.
- Strong interest in blockchain technologies; knowledge & experience in the space highly preferred.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with experience serving as a strategic business partner to org Leaders.
- Experience working in high-growth/start-up environments.
