Job Description
We’re excited to be recruiting for a Finance PMO Analyst to join us in our Group Functions division. The Purpose of this role is to ensure consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of Financials across the team, both operationally and within all Portfolios and Programmes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Helping to define processes & controls.
  • Monitoring finances to validate adherence in line with our business goals and build relationships and interface with key stakeholders.
  • Inspection and management of the financial position of the portfolio covering Change and BAU, highlighting areas where issues are or could occur in a timely manner, ensuring our programmes and projects are run in a cost-efficient way and deliver to budget in line with our strategy.
  • Producing monthly financial reporting packs with Stakeholders and review through monthly management meetings.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes and coordinate funding approvals.
  • Collaborating closely with the Stakeholders on the resource, supply and demand processes to ensure that our resources are correctly accounted and costed for and used as efficiently as possible.
  • Identifying process improvements across functions and cost reduction efforts to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a Finance PMO role is essential.
  • Track record of building effective relationships to enable execution of analysis tasks and delivery plans.
  • Must be comfortable in challenging at all levels including Senior Leadership with concerns over Finances.
  • Experience in development or refinement of financial frameworks, controls and process documentation in conjunction with Finance Business Partner.
  • Advanced Excel skills - adept at manipulating large amounts of data, applying an array of formulae and strong reporting/formatting skills.
  • Experience of training processes to those with finance and non-finance backgrounds
