ABOUT THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance professional to support the business in integrating a recent acquisition of a port facility in Szczecin, implement appropriate P&L/Cash reporting processes, and assist in obtaining Project Finance for the €30m project cost. The port acquisition will unlock significant cost savings through direct raw material sourcing and reduced handling cost surcharges.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years PQE Accountant or equivalent in industry experience,
• experience with audits,
• strong excel skills,
• proactive and able to work independently,
• team player,
• good level of English.

• work with local port business to integrate facility financial reporting into company standard reporting,
• track project capex/opex spend vs plan and identify/explain deviations and any counter-measures,
• build out forecast P&L/CF to end 2024 and for 2025 budget,
• act as the interface between local business management/project teams and the Finance team,
• examine and make a proposal on how best to link facility finance systems to company finance systems,
• help prepare facility accounts for the 2024 audit,
• map of bridging items between Polish GAAP and IFRS (Group standard),
• member of team responsible to secure Project Financing for €30m acquisition/capex costs.
