Join Close Brothers Central Finance Team where you will be supporting the Senior Financial Reporting Manager in financial control and reporting responsibilities. The post holder will manage one direct report.
The role of Finance Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in providing wide ranging support across external and internal reporting, and oversight of the finance functions in the banking segments. The team is also often involved in a variety of ad hoc analysis and project work.

• Experience of SAP
• Experience of producing consolidated financial statements

Month-end and financial control procedures

• Support production of monthly Bank consolidation file
• Review consolidation journals

Regulatory reporting

• Review consolidated quarterly FINREP reports, including raising review comments and providing challenge to Bank divisions

Other reporting and analysis

• Prepare intercompany dividends and interest free funding calculations
• Review and prepare the Office of National Statistics Return

Interim and year-end reporting

• Manage the timetable for Bank submissions of interim and year end packs
• Produce high quality interim and year-end financial reports, including the Bank’s financial statements

Accounting policy

• Support the IFRS 16/IFRS 9 process across the Bank
• Support production of accounting papers where necessary

Risk & Compliance
Adherence to Governance and Compliance requirements, and ensuring reporting and reviewing activities meet standards required by Regulatory Bodies
Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.
