Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Innovation in the Pilon School of Business (PSB), the position is responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions within the faculty, maintaining several databases/spreadsheets and providing administrative assistance.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field and 5 years of experience in an office environment with accounting/finance experience.
- Experience using PeopleSoft and Chrome River, Millenium, and Questica.
- Experience working in a post-secondary institution is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to coordinate multiple tasks with varying deadlines.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Budgeting Activities, Reports and Analysis
- Assisting with Preparation of Annual budgets, semi annual revisions, quarterly reconciliation and analysis.
- Creating, maintaining and updating relevant financial tracking tools including but not limited to (People Soft, Millenium, and Questica)
- Supporting new projects and initiatives, creating financial business cases and models.
- Expenses Tracking and Reporting
- Reviewing monthly corporate VISA submissions for completeness and proper authorizations. Archiving PSB Visa Statements for future reference.
- Reviewing Chrome River expense reports to ensure completeness and proper authorizations
- Preparing Cost Transfers and Budget Transfers for approval
- Acting as an internal resource for VISA cardholders and maintaining a database of PSB cardholders, their default account codes and monthly limits
- Using the PeopleSoft system, generating purchase requisitions for equipment and services, as required
- Ensuring purchase orders are accurate, goods are received and invoices are paid promptly
- Other duties as assigned
