Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Systems Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in scoping requirements for finance systems and leading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for system selection. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our financial systems align with our strategic goals and operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in finance systems, preferably within the lending or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes and systems, including ERP or financial management software.
- Experience in managing RFP processes and vendor selection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, and project management software.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for finance systems.
- RFP Management: Lead the RFP process for system selection, including developing RFP documents, evaluating vendor proposals, and facilitating vendor presentations.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough analysis of existing finance systems, identifying areas for improvement and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Project Coordination: Work with project managers to ensure timely implementation of new systems and enhancements, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Training and Support: Assist in the development of training materials and provide support to end-users during system implementation.
