Description:

Deliveroo Finance is delivering a transformation programme to ensure the teams, processes and systems across Finance are optimally configured to best support the company in the execution of its strategy to achieve growth and profitability. The role will report into the Finance Programme Director and on a day to day delivery basis to the responsible Project Manager supporting the project management of systems, data and process for a number of projects within this programme.

REQUIREMENTS

Key competencies/skills:

  • 6+ years in a Test Management role
  • Experience managing testing programmes across ERP/finance systems
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of project lifecycles
  • Proven experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools
  • Applying Structured Testing Approach - able to build an appropriate but robust testing programme and ensuring best practice approach, bringing a ‘toolkit’ of templates.
  • Big Picture Vision - to zoom out from what is currently done and see why it is we need to do it. Able to quickly draw parallels and consolidate activities from diverse activities.
  • Analytical Mindset - to break down monolithic problems into clearly distinct and digestible issues and then identify options to resolve them.
  • Stakeholder Partnership - to engage, influence and excite a varied team from across multiple business units and help instil a joint feeling of ownership and pride.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Strategy - Estimating the testing effort by analysing the requirements and objectives of the project and defining the project testing strategy/approach.
  • Test Planning and Test Script Definition - Developing the test plan and test scripts for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and ensure requirements are met. Working with the Project Manager to build a testing team of key business contacts with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation to execute test scripts.
  • Test Execution - Arranging test environment, access for all resources involved and ensuring appropriate data for test script execution is available. Ensuring content and structure of all Testing documents / artefacts is documented and maintained. Keeping track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project and ensuring the timely delivery of all testing milestones.
  • Testing Monitoring and Reporting - Track and prepare the reporting of testing activities like test, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc providing Testing Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Project Manager. Preparing and maintaining the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase and at the completion of the project.
  • Test Moderator - Filtering UAT feedback from the business users and raising on the supplier’s BugTracker system, facilitating the feedback loop between the supplier and the business for issue resolution.
  • Test leadership and management - Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated and working with and managing expectations of Senior Finance and other business stakeholders
