ABOUT THE JOB

Within the Finance function at BNP Paribas, the Standards & Controls department has among other missions to represent Finance within the Group’s valuation framework and to reinforce the functional animation of the decentralised LOD2s (2nd Line Of Defense), through direct and intrusive supervision
The team is responsible for the LOD2 on Economic P&L and P&L Explain and is also dedicated to the supervision of the entire Fair and Prudent Valuation chain

PROFILE AND SKILLS TO SUCCESS

Academic background in engineering degree or business school with a speciality in Financial Markets
Professional experience in investment bank Front Office, Market Risk or Quant Research department
Fluency in english
Knowledgement of risk concepts (delta, vega, VaR…), Fixed Income and/or Equity Derivatives products (bonds/stocks, swaps/forwards/futures, options vanillas/exotics, Repos), Fixed Income and /or Equity Derivatives related market data (rates, volatilities, correlations…), and potentially their sources, and the main associated products
Understanding of the basic concepts and models in mathematical finance
Proficiency in MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
Teamwork
Positive attitude to comply with deadlines and objectives
Effective organisation and time management, including ability to prioritise workload
Quality focused, detail oriented and problem-solving skills
Good communication Skills
