Description:

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach
  • Strong communicator with financial and management accounting experience
  • Good relationship building in working with key stakeholders across the business
  • Fascination – always looking at new efficient ways of working
  • Experience of working within complex organisational structure
  • You will have strong process and accounting knowledge including statutory accounting
  • You’ll be comfortable working independently, able to manage your own workload through good time management and prioritisation skills to deliver the required outcomes.
  • Ideally you will have experience of managing a team
  • SUN financial systems and SAP Concur experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

You will be a key member of the Finance team, working in a small team of 5 people and reporting to our Senior financial controller.
You will be responsible to manage the month-end close process, prepare financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations, coordinate tax compliance and audit process and participate in ad-hoc finance related projects.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Financial leadership in managing the month end and year end processes.
  • Financial acumen in reconciling and analysing revenue streams and balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage and oversee the year end audit process and provide support to budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Manage the accounting team
  • Overseeing systems, transactions and management accounts.
  • Streamline processes and procedures ensure efficiencies are always being pursuit.
