EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in financial reporting and decision support, ideally within the Irish public sector.Consultancy experience is highly desirable, particularly in financial advisory roles for public sector organizations.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems, data analysis tools.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and skills.
- Strong understanding of public sector financial frameworks.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborative and client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with government departments, state agencies, or public sector organizations in Ireland.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and tools used in the public sector.Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to consultancy projects.
