As a Financial Accountant, you will be part of Destinus’ Finance and administration team. Divided across different locations, this team consists of the (Group) CFO, Finance Manager, Financial Accountants, and Finance and Office Assistant.
You will be responsible for preparing our company’s financial statements and executing and optimizing various financial processes of our European branches.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a colleague with broad knowledge in the field of Finance, and who feels comfortable solving complex issues independently.

The most important requirements would be:

  • You have a Bachelor level based on education or experience in the direction of Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • You have at least 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • You speak and write fluent German and English. English is the working language in our company.
  • affinity with MSDynamics
  • Full-time availability is desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing incoming and outgoing invoices and the associated bank transactions.
  • You will create reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will also be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
  • Internally, you will be the first point of contact for project management and purchasing.
  • Processing intercompany transactions and the monthly reconciliation of these transactions.
  • Processing VAT returns on time.
  • Performing financial checks on ongoing projects.
  • Preparing and checking management reports (weekly and monthly).
  • Performing monthly closing activities on time so that MT reports and reports for internal and external stakeholders can be drawn up.
  • Performing activities for financial audits.
  • Other tasks that recur regularly to guarantee correct and timely reporting
