Now, we’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- The candidate should demonstrate a substantial knowledge and understanding of accountancy procedures, with the ability to work accurately and in a detailed manner to meet strict deadlines.
- Creative & innovative individual with a strong ability to identify opportunities to improve processes
- Foodservice industry experience desirable but not essential
- Full clean Class B driving license

Responsibilities:
- Sales, margin and operating expense analysis
- Involvement in planning, forecasting and analysis of operating cost
- Working capital management, reporting and forecasting
- Implementing and monitoring KPIs across each operating cost centre
- Balance sheet reconciliation process
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team and ensure processes are structured to maximise efficiencies
- Manage intercompany receivable/payable balance reconciliation process
